Sifting through Band Camp's relentless library, I stumbled across the Blood on the Walls album. A unique blend of underground hip-hop, distorting the minds of those who listen to the radio's nonsensical mixes between pop and rap. Intense beats fall into calming melodies and you find yourself kicking your foot as you listen to harsh words that seamlessly transition between tracks.
The beat is enough to draw you in but when bombarded by lyrics that catch you unexpectedly, that's what keeps you going through track after track.
"Starts with the master plan
Dollar in a dream
Run fast as you can to the marketing scheme
Jump in the fast lane to the promise land
Fucking rat race to get your pockets fat
An art form is murdered
The love is tainted
They more concerned with becoming famous"
